Know the Enemy and Know Yourself
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War Read.

Evaluating our Media Presence (and the organization)
As has often been the case in my writing career, I have a draft that needs completing, but I am starting a draft. I use “career” here intentionally, since for a while that really was my job running Netizen Empowerment Federation. Also though, this is true of my writing projects for the day job. Netizen Read.

The History of Jibber Jabber Jambalaya
As I noted in the previous post, there was a lot to come out of the Music Maynumit talk I had with Tom Ray of Lorenzo’s Music. Existential questions, really. There’s a very real possibility I won’t address those until after Netlabel Week in July. There’s the Netlabel Week planning, but I also have JJJ’s Read.

The History of the CC Listening Party
There was a lot to come out of the talk today I had with Tom Ray of Lorenzo’s Music, and at some point I need to address some of those topics in greater depth. One thing though that came up though was what became the CC Listening Party. Since the CC Listening Party recently had Read.

Jibber Jabber Jambalaya Episode 3 is out!
First off, thanks to Cheese and Pot-C for spending their Saturday night with me, and to Longjohn for getting up so early. Here is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM9HYPOtZyc Once it syncs to PeerTube, I will update this. In the meantime, you can check https://dalek.zone/c/cc_community_music_awards/videos to see if it has synced. If it doesn’t sync after a Read.

New Show: Jibber Jabber Jambalaya
Maybe I wrote about it, but it isn’t a headline. Sadly though (at least as an indicator as to the state of the blog), it’s not that new! Jessica Harrison and I recorded in early February. I think I was probably waiting to post to get the audio-only feed going, but that’s been done for Read.

Big(?) Changes with the direction Friends of CC Music
Back when we tried this the first time with Netizen Empowerment Federation, it was primarily me, Stephen, Ryno, and to a certain extent Josiah. Kevie was involved some too on the sports side and Walt and I talked a lot on the tech side. Honestly, I am not sure how relevant that is to the Read.

No CC CMA in 2025
I really think getting rid of the CC CMA is probably the way to go. It’s work we really don’t have the resources for right now, but at the Constitutional Convention people wanted to keep it around. My guess: CC CMA will not be back for 2026. We have to get the new cchits site Read.

Fulfilling My Civic Duty
One of the criticisms that came up during the Constitutional Convention is that there isn’t enough content on the blog. I think actually, the criticism was really that I should pick better blog post titles. I think all the information is in the backlog. Still, there are a few of other places to get info: Read.

The Rundown
The agenda spreadsheet has some blurbs, as do the notes documents in the agenda spreadsheet, but that appears to be insufficient, so I will talk a bit about the agenda topics below. Article of Incorporation/ByLaws I moved this on the agenda because I realized that a lot of the decisions we have to make the Read.
